My first week apart of a Cult

This week I started my first ever 9-5 job (though it isn't really 9-5...its more). I didn't really know what to expect. I was nervous and excited. I am happy to say my expectations were surpassed. The first week of my placement flew by, and I am now wrapping up week one at Cult.

So, what is Cult?

Cult is an engagement agency, helping brands get customers to buy in to what the brands are doing, therefore forming an active loyalty to them. Active loyalty means you don't just like what a brand is doing, you are spreading the word about what they are doing. You can read all about Cult's goals here: Advertising or Engagement?

The People

As a part of my orientation week, I reached out to discover more about those who work at Cult. One thing was abundantly clear to everyone I spoke with: They have bought in. They understood what Cult was trying to do for brands and believed in it 100%. They are all very talented individuals who provided great insight into Cult, and had their own words of wisdom for someone like me, trying to get started in the field.

Paving the way

Cult is setting a lot of new industry standards and really breaking free of the traditional advertising model. I am looking forward to spending the next month and a half being a part of such an innovative company, leading the marketing world into the future.
